Wellness with Essential Oils - Oils of Scripture

Wellness is defined as harmony between the mind, body, and spirit. Offering natural remedies to life’s imbalances, essential oils create true wellness when in their raw form, as an ingredient in nutritional supplements, or as part of essential living.

I am truly blessed to have such wonderful daughters and granddaughters. The innocent knowledge that comes through their spirit is simple yet strikingly powerful. This Blend stimulates the nerves and helps release negative memories so that joy can be attained. Uplifting Joy was created to honor Sophie, Dilynn, and Taylor's request to learn and experiance pure natural therapeutic essential "Oils of Scripture".

The Bible mentions essential oils and how oils “rejoice the heart" as in
Psalm 45:7-8 "7: You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy. 8: All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory the music of the strings makes you glad.
Proverbs 27:9: "Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice. Isaiah 61:3 "and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. " and
Hebrews 1:9 refers to “The Oil of Joy” or “Gladness”:9 "You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”

Biblical reference to essential oils also use the terms “Fragrances,” “odors,” “ointments,” “aromas,” “perfumes,” or “sweet savors. According to the research of David Stewart the Bible refers to essential oils or aromatic plants and aromatic products 1035 times. There are at least 33 Bible reference to essential oil producing plants.

People in the Bible used essential oils daily.

The word “oil” is mentioned 191 times in the Bible. While “olive oil” is specifically mentioned only 7 times, there are 147 instances where it can be inferred. Olive oil was not only a food, but was burned in lamps for light and olive oil was used as a base for blending other anointing oils for religious or medicinal purposes such as Aaron being consecrated as the high priest with the holy anointing oil. As in Exodus 30:22-31. Olive oil was often used to cleanse wounds.
