Origin: Most Sage is found in Dalmatia where it is grown in the wild.
Description: Very pungent, herbal aroma. Can be very invasive and hard to get rid of it's smell.
History: Throughout the centuries, Sage has been thought to bestow a long life. It was popular in China for curing
sterility. Also a well-known nerve tonic during the Middle Ages.
Properties and Indications:
Gynecological problems such as endometriosis, history of miscarriages, and regulating the menstrual cycle
Useful for menopausal problems especially hot flushes
Good for water retention
Can help with constipation
Tonic for the digestive system, liver, and kidneys
Helps clear mucous so is good for colds and bronchitis
Could ease tired muscles
Personality:
Clears deep fears and violence
Can bring out people's dreams and make things seem more clear
For people who cannot release emotions such as anger
Good for people with strong weaknesses
